I had the pleasure of working with Larry McAnarney for a reverse mortgage for my mother. My mom wanted to stay in her home for her senior years and needed to do the reverse mortgage for the 24/7 in home care that was needed. I received Larry's name and contact information from a small-town bank near my mom's house. Knowing nothing about reverse mortgages, I knew I needed an expert and someone that would be patient, helpful, and willing to share all his knowledge. I found all of that, and more, in Larry. Every phone conversation, zoom call, and email from Larry was filled with valuable information that helped me, my mom, and my siblings through the entire reverse mortgage process. I felt like he was "holding my hand" as the process moved forward and that he always had my mom's best interests in mind. Larry is a very caring and compassionate person, and I could genuinely feel his desire to truly help our family. I never felt afraid, unsure, or concerned. Larry was always available to talk or text and he quickly replied to e-mails (even when I sent them in the middle of the night) The paperwork and forms he provided were very organized and detailed and I appreciated that Larry took the time to carefully explain all of the information. I have nothing but positive things to say about Larry. When the mortgage was approved and closed, I remember thinking "I'm going to miss Larry." Good people like Larry are hard to find.

Elderly Family Member We worked with Larry McAnarney to secure a reverse mortgage for an elderly family member. From beginning to end of this rather complicated process, Larry was extremely efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. He shared with us all of the elements of this type of mortgage arrangement, explained clearly how it would work, and advised us of possible misunderstandings. When we had questions (as we did on multiple occasions), he answered them promptly and efficiently, both by email and telephone. He also followed up quickly to clarify some final issues and questions that arose as the closing approached and even after it had been completed. His manner was always professional and well informed. I would strongly recommend working with Larry in any matter related to mortgage financing or refinancing, especially so in regard to making a wise decision about a reverse mortgage.

Professional-Patient-Flexible-Thoroughly Knowledgeable Our financial planner suggested we look into a reverse mortgage to free up extra assets to help us use them for vacations, anticipated and unanticipated expenes,while protecting current cash flow. Additionally, having a line of credit provides peace of mind that we will have the cash available to meet whatever the future holds. Larry provided the answers to our questions and pointed out the way the process works in a way we could understand and the pros and cons of the choices available relative to the costs associated with each choice, no hidden fees, and a clear understanding of our obligations. Larry helped us to consider family issues that might arise so we could determine what our goals are upon our passing for our children. He is professional, patient, flexible, and most of all thoroughly knowledgeable.

Larry Worked Very Hard Larry went the extra mile in getting the loan to go through, and although I am in a better situation than before, the process did not end up creating what I needed it to create, but I am grateful for the fact that things are better. This was still the road I needed to take, and Larry worked very hard to make it happen. .
